Artist Statement

My name is Cyndi Lavin, and I live, work, and play in Massachusetts.  Creating stuff is a mesmerizing business.  Before you know it, you’ve got a stack of art work and no dinner on the table.  But thankfully, my family is very patient ~ and very used to this.  Their love and support is one of the reasons why creating is such a joy for me.  Some artists create from their pain, but I have always worked from my joy.  Ultimately though, my joy doesn’t come from my circumstances, although I will be the first to admit that I have been undeservedly blessed, but from my faith.  My pieces are not intended to be the embodiment of any spiritual forces, but instead are simply a reflection of my love for my Creator.
