This piece was designed especially for a segment on one of HGTV's crafting shows. I wanted to give people a way to celebrate their heritage, by making a wearable art piece from a photo that is meaningful to the family, without destroying it. In a way, this handmade beaded jewelry piece is a wearable scrapbook page, and can be decorated with charms and beads and buttons that belong to the family as well. Your own handwriting can also be added, in a process that will not wear off!
